About the band

We are a charity:  Farnham Brass Band is a Registered Charity (Charity Number 278975) which operates under the management of a Committee, that is appointed annually by its members at an Annual General Meeting. 

Subscriptions:  fees for the year are agreed at the Spring AGM. Current fees for 2025 are £85 per year (£42.50  for those in full-time education). This includes the free loan of an instrument (subject to availability) together with access to both the senior band and the training band.

Rehearsals: Training band 6:45 - 7:30 pm Monday evenings. Main band practice 7:30 - 9:30 pm Monday evenings.  

How we communicate within the band: the majority of messaging is carried out on the band WhatsApp group and some more lengthy communication is completed by email. This is a very effective way of coordinating all our activities.
